Weston works also with virtualbox and vmware. Just remember to enable opengl acceleration to your VM.

Hi Aaron,

Weston should definitely run inside Qemu (not sure for VirtualBox), even if some glitches remain and capabilities are inferior to Porter.

What command are you using to run the image ? Mine looks like this :

qemu-system-x86_64 -cpu qemu64,+ssse3 -m 512 -hda agl-demo-platform.ext3 --append "root=/dev/hda"

Matt and I here are trying to get our qemux AGL builds to run in Qemu or Virtual Box. When we do so, we get a window that looks like it's struggling to run a GUI and a terminal simultaneously. Doesn't get to Weston.

Any help?
