<p class="MsoNormal">It is patently wrong to suggest ViaBTC said they’ll mine both chains. What they actually said (and the linked tweet confirms) is that they’ll support both chains to give access to users (quite distinct from mine both chains).</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">I’m inclined to think that if they do mine the legacy chain, it’ll be to produce coinbase tx only blocks to hasten it’s demise.</p>
