After grub starts the kernel, the last line the kernel prints is "Decompressing
linux...", after that in a few seconds the machine is rebooted.

The machine is Thinkpad T500 2089-A81.

The same issue was present with 2.6.33-rc8. The 2.6.32.y series works for me.
