Hardware Environment:

usb mouse and keyboard on a thinkpad x31 and also an Apple macintosh G4.

Software Environment:

2.6.11-rc2-bk10 and also 2.6.10-1.1121_FC4

Problem Description:

For every key stroke, I get one of these printed across my console:

drivers/usb/input/hid-input.c: event field not found

Steps to reproduce:

Boot affected kernel, wait for initial console, type away, and enjoy the spammy
goodness.

I've complained about the input subsystem spamming the console before with the
too many keys pressed error, but this is ridiculous!
