Summary: User Mode Linux build broken in -linus tree, works in -
                    mm.
    Kernel Version: 2.6.11-rc3
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
             Owner: jdike at karaya.com
         Submitter: rob at landley.net

Distribution: kernel.org
Hardware Environment: i386
Software Environment:
Problem Description: User Mode Linux doesn't build.

Steps to reproduce: make ARCH=um menuconfig ; make ARCH=um

User Mode Linux builds and works fine in Andrew Morton's tree (I compiled
2.6.11-rc1-mm2 and built a Linux From Scratch system under it). But Linus's
-rc and -bk snapshots haven't built for a while: in -rc2 due to relatively
trivial breakages in the syscall table (which wheren't fixed in -rc3) and now
the move to 4 level page tables in mm/memory.c breaks too.
