Problem Description:
Kernel (2.6.8 till now) runs into a kernel panic error while initialising the
hpt370 module for my controller. by compiling it as a module, kernel hangs up
when modprobing ...
Steps to reproduce:
same .config as on the 2.6.7 or earlier
