Summary: Starfire driver Rx corruption with CONFIG_HIGHMEM4G
    Kernel Version: 2.6.10
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
             Owner: jgarzik at pobox.com
         Submitter: mrgrim at gr1m.org

Distribution: Gentoo
Hardware Environment: Athlon 1Ghz, 1.25G RAM, Adaptec Duo66 NIC
Software Environment: Linux kernel 2.6.10 w/ CONFIG_HIGHMEM4G enabled.
Problem Description: When CONFIG_HIGHMEM4G is enabled the starfire network
driver corrupts Rx data. The mii, ethtool, and Tx parts of the driver all
work normally. The correct number of packets and packet size are generated,
but the data inside the packet is garbled. Sometimes I can see strings that
would be in the memory of other programs running on the system when I analyze
the packets with ethereal. When trying to get an address from my dhcp server
it's logs indicate that it is recieving correct data from the card which
indicates this is only with the Rx ring.

Steps to reproduce: Enable CONFIG_HIGHMEM4G (I have not tested with 64G)
while using the starfire driver.
