Summary: Promise SATA 20378 driver mislabeled
    Kernel Version: 2.6.10
            Status: NEW
          Severity: low
             Owner: andmike at us.ibm.com
         Submitter: amedee at amedee.be

Distribution: Gentoo
Hardware Environment: AMD64 3000+ Asus K8V SE Deluxe
Software Environment: n/a
Problem Description: The name of the driver for the Promise SATA 20378 is
mislabeled as Promise PATA 20278.

Steps to reproduce:
make menuconfig
go down device drivers --> SCSI --> low level SCSI
There are two duplicate Promise PATA 20278 entries. Selecting one automagically
selects the other.
If you want support for a Promise SATA 20378, you need to compile a PATA 20278.
Go figure...
Suggested solution: name the driver PATA/SATA 20278/378, if it really works for
both the PATA and SATA controller.
