When I press Fn+F9 or F10 which are the keyboard buttons to decrease/increase
the screen brightness of my HP Probook 6560b laptop, nothing happens.

I'm using x86_64 kernel from Gentoo packages (gentoo-sources). The issue
persists both in kernels 3.0.0 and 3.0.1.
