CGL Conf Call 

Jan 15, 2008

 

Attendees:

Agenda: 

- review cgl-scope process 

- review gaps progress, wiki, etc. 

- discussion: do we need a CGL face-to-face to complete documents?

- planning for upcoming joint call with SCOPE

- LF collaboration - what does CGL need for the meeting?

- MountainView Alliance CEC - do we want to participate?

 

Minutes: 

-          Dan C - send the flow chart to the mailing list for comments,
if no major comments, then send to SCOPE, otherwise, may need another
call to review 

-          Discussion on the process with gaps and how they get
analyzed, Dan Kohn mentioned that maybe a little consulting money to
some experts will get the process going 

-          Dan K - contact Jonathan Corbet to get the wiki started, get
responses to the gaps 

-          CGL face-to-face, team feels we need to have a face-to-face
to make progress on the split/gaps, proposal is for MontaVista to host
the meeting in Santa Clara on Feb 5-6 

-          Dan - send email for the proposed face-to-face 

-          SCOPE - Feb 24th proposed date for a joint SCOPE meeting -
Glenn will send proposal

-          Goal for LF Collaboration: 

o       Goal should be to complete the work and have a final review with
a larger knowledge base of people 

o       Amanda needs to know how much time we need for a CGL
face-to-face

o       Dan K and Markus will help us get the right experts in the CGL
meeting with us for a meaningful collaboration - Corbet will attend
