Ugh.  Okay, thanks for the info.  So this particular patch is not the final one
we'll end up with, then?  We should recognize it at least, and not sure what
this means to our current feeling that we should almost accepts native binaries
- at least get as close as we can - when we know those are now all going to be
of this type.  thoughts from licquia?
