It seems, that finalization of these tests was incorrect, but you are the first
who try them on the system, which verify mutex state when mutex is freed.

Attached file is simplified version of the corrected 26th test in that group.

Could you build this test and run on your system?
If all will be ok (it is expected), comment last 3 lines in the main() function
(they are pointed in the code), and try to build and run test again.
Expected, that same error message, as you has catched, should appeared.
