Actually, the server is currently started/stopped by means of supplemental
scripts located in the bin subdirectory of the ATK Manager directory:
./bin/lsb-atk-start.pl starts the server in the background.
./bin/lsb-atk-stop.pl stops the server.
So, the user does not have to start the server itself by hand. Is it enough?
