[Openais] new parsing code

Attached to bugzilla is the start of the new parsing code to get more
enhanced logging capabilities.  This should help us get to the point
where gmi doesn't break, which is the real point of all of this work:

If your working on modifying the logging function, attach your patches
there and we can review them within bugzilla.
