I'm not sure what to do about this issue

I tried with trunk:
gcc (GCC) 3.2.3 20030502 (Red Hat Linux 3.2.3-23)
Copyright (C) 2002 Free Software Foundation, Inc.

warranty; not even for MERCHANTABILITY or FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR
PURPOSE.

and it builds for me.

Are you building trunk or some other version?
