The point of N WAY is that CSIs may direct a component to be both active
and standby at the same time.  Their IPs are outside of the scope of the
AMF specification.

I think what you want is the n+m model where N is only active nodes, and
M is 0.  Each component on the N nodes has a separate IP to which the
DNS server maps one particuar name.  This is probably what LVS does.  To
be honest, I've never played with LVS.

If you could explain the problem you want to solve, it may help the list
understand how to answer your questions more suitably.
