[Openais] checkpoint disappears after node reset

I have been using 0.80.x and keep running into the
same problem. I ran aisexec on two separate nodes and
they recongnize each other as ring members. One node
is the writer of the checkpoint; the other is in
standby. When the writer node crashes (i.e., its
aisexec is gone), the standby node starts reading from
the checkpoint, but the reads fail with
SA_AIS_ERR_LIBRARY.

That is a typical scenario of high availability
support, and I am surprised openais does not work. Am
I missing something?
