Do the following:

- Uninstall the Foomatic of your distro.

- Download Foomatic 3.0.1rc2 (foomatic-db-engine, foomatic-filters,
foomatic-db) and install the packages.

- Read the README of foomatic-db-engine

- Add XML files for all printers on which your driver works. If there
are already entries for some of the supported printers, update their
text and recommended driver, and raise their rating to "Partially",
"Mostly", or "Perfectly".

- Add a driver XML and option XMLs.

- Look into the existing XMLs to see how Foomatic XMLs have to llok like.

- Copy similar entries to have a start for new entries.

- Try out whether your new entries work.

- Send them to me and/or include them in your package. I will add them
to linuxprinting.org
