Sorry, after several re-reads I didn't follow that.
Basically if you get the line at the caret you'll get the line that has 
the caret even if the caret is after the last char on the line (which 
means the caret logically is on the first char of the next line).

In Mozilla, for a soft line break the character at the end-of-line 
position is just a space.
