	1.)	AT-SPI

The Assistive Technology Service Provider Interface (AT-SPI)
 was developed in GNOME2 and is in process of adoption by KDE. at-spi allows assistive technologies to access GTK2-based applications. Essentially it
exposes the internals of applications for automation, so tools such as screen readers, magnifiers, or even scripting interfaces can query and interact
with GUI controls. It facilitates access for individuals who cannot use the standard graphical interface. It enables developers to build applications
that they (or a third party) can make accessible. It enables developers and distributions to meet accessibility requirements of individual and corporate
customers.

AT-SPI is a finished product that we propose to adopt.
