Because the audio environment on Linux remains unsettled, our workshop
proved an invaluable opportunity for accessibility experts to engage in
a frank discussion regarding competing approaches for supporting and
managing accessibility requirements. We recognized first that
accessibility alone would not determine the eventual consensus on audio
support. Indeed, we did not fully agree among ourselves where and how
various aspects of audio in support of accessibility should located.
Therefore, we agreed on, and moved the following activities forward:

> We started to document changes to the audio system needed for screen readers.

> The meeting in Hawaii was also the first opportunity for various projects
