[agl-discussions] Appliation d-bus interfaces?

Thank you very much for your clarification.

And how about the set of methods (getAvilableApps, renderSurfaceArea, dayNightMode, etc...) available?

It is full (satisfying every use case), or just for the demo purpose.

When a vendor tries to provide a homescreen for 'AGL', it could be less-confusing if proprietary interfaces can be easily mapped to well-known set of interface of IVI and other purpose.

(Not sure what is well-known, and though the interfaces can be the area of differentiation also so they may be doing everything in OEM extension even if a basic set is defined.)

Hi,
no. I just used this scheme because I found no naming rule at that time.

I think the naming makes sense but I guess we need it defined/written down somewhere.

I can create a template on docs.automotivelinux.org<http://docs.automotivelinux.org>

Hello AGL.
I am looking into the follows (homescreen related d-bus interface definition).

https://gerrit.automotivelinux.org/gerrit/gitweb?p=staging/HomeScreen.git;a=tree;f=interfaces;hb=HEAD

I just wonder if it is based some named standard or AGL is pushing it (org.agl.xxxx space) as a standard, like AGL compatible homescreen should use this interface?
Just curious about its stability (as a spec) and roadmap.
