[agl-discussions] A few questions on ivi-shell behavior

Hello.
I started trying multiple display configuration for my spare time.
Maybe basic questions around ivi-shell, but I wanted to confirm.

1) How screen ids are assigned?

0, 1, 2, ... are assigned without reason?  can I predict to which display screen #0 is assigned?

2) how to identify screens(displays)?

Assuming I cannot predict how screen #s are assigned to physical displays, how can I identify screens<->displays?  Only by their diensions?

3) Who should be assigning layers/surfaces?

It is assumed to be the task of window manager to assign layers to screens?
(i.e. Window manager need to know which layers go to which screens)
