Yeah, maybe you're right.

Reason 1)  You think malleability fix is not needed.

It may be small issue, small issues can be solved by small hard forks with low effort changes to code. Don't forget that a week after Bitcoin Cash release ViaBTC delayed transactions due to transaction malleability.

Reason 2) You think that no one needs SMF while FlexTrans exists.

I agree, but some people don't. In my schedule, the 1st HF included the SMF while the 2nd included FlexTrans, to make a compromise. That's consensus.
