More total-chain Proof of work, and higher market cap?  Yes, BCH would
become Bitcoin.  Not overnight or instantly, and not based on hashing
power alone or price alone.  Sorry that you don't like how network
effects work, but that's how it goes.

The core developer team has been rejecting measurable consensus for
1.5 years now, and providing users with only one option - Theirs.  If
Core wishes to continue to reject measurable consensus, they are free
to do so, but if they wish to both reject measurable consensus and
have replay protection, they will need to add it themselves.
