[Bitcoin-segwit2x] Disabling of comments for urgent chain split bug

Jeff,
What do you think about moving the activation/orphaning date to the same date as BIP148 (1st August)?
This would probably help to ensure the proper distribution of BIP91 blocks due to the bigger amount of nodes (~100 BIP91 nodes vs. >1k BIP148 nodes) and would help to organize a activation date independent of a proper communication between the nodes/miners.
I know the timeframe is quite short, but I think we should consider all possible solutions to ensure that the Segwit2x deployment works as expected.
Multiple chain splits are most likely not a desired target, independent by all competing bitcoin versions (BU, Classic, Core, …)… :/
Best,
Peter
