[Bitcoin-segwit2x] F2Pool backing out of NYA - Fork still happening?

It is patently wrong to suggest ViaBTC said they’ll mine both chains. What they actually said (and the linked tweet confirms) is that they’ll support both chains to give access to users (quite distinct from mine both chains).

I’m inclined to think that if they do mine the legacy chain, it’ll be to produce coinbase tx only blocks to hasten it’s demise.

>I believe that's what all miners will do anyway, because you cant mine unprofitably, hashrate follows profitability.  But it likely speaks to what Bitmain also intends to do - I would hazard a guess.
