[Bitcoin-segwit2x] F2Pool backing out of NYA - Fork still happening?

As for the initial query for which the link was provided:
Bit 1 signalling barely achieved sustained backing of 35% (requiring 95%) in any voting window pre NYA (bip91/bit 4) signalling. That is verifiable from the blockchain and I do not have to click on any links. On the separate issue of where f2pool’s hash will end up, everyone is entitled to their opining and it is in my estimation that f2pool (having been weary of loosing money by un-necessarily restarting their servers to top signalling for NYA since Sep 1st) are not going to risk all their hash simply to “support” core.

@Kekcoin – if you got offended, good. And yes, you are a kid going by your last. And stop adding to the off-topic noise by apologising for being off-topic.

Between your wild assumptions about my age, your fallacious implication that a younger age would imply lesser knowledge while simultaneously showcasing a severe lack of insight, and your random strawmen about what I would have said if this or that happened, I think I'll consider you a lost cause and cut this discussion short. Apologies to the list for the offtopic.

Honestly, I am neither trying to shame him nor have any intention of changing my email provider (probably had my Hotmail for as long as you are old!). The age old advice is not to click on links that you do not trust (and I have simply been transparent on this). But also the “information” was not solicited (big red flag) and more pertinently I do not trust blockstream (or their employees), what with all the DDoS attacks, character assassinations, attempts to usurp the bitcoin consensus mechanism et al. You’d be the first to blame me if I picked up a nasty virus from the link. Better safe than sorry.

>From the .outlook.com part of the domain it seems to me it's your hotmail injecting referral links in incoming emails. Perhaps reconsider your email provider and not publicly shame someone for trying to provide you with informational material. Hackingdistributed.com (as I can see is being linked in the referral) is Emin Sirer's real domain.

That link contains the word “safelinks” and it triggers alarms for me but having read a few of your postings elsewhere, I trust the link even less.
But I suppose we better limit posts to tech discussion (as the handbags have already started flying).

To understand more about mining economics and the creation vs
verification mechanism between miners and nodes, I recommend this
article by Prof Emin Sirer which explains it quite clearly.
