Incorrect you don’t need any node to create a SegWit1x transaction. This can be done with a python script and broadcast through any 2x node (1x has no replay protection).
You only need a SegWit2x node; there is no replay protection so 1x nodes are not needed even whatsoever.
Bitcoin for dummies could help you.
