Master Jeff thanks for the update. I was hoping this update would herald btc1 as the new bitcoin reference client post Nov HF, but having read you latter message I am pleased that there is a commitment to keep the client up to date post fork. I suppose that’ll suffice as it’ll effectively become the reference client in all but name. All good.

  * Is the threshold for release still 80% miner signaling?
  * If miner signaling for NYA falls significantly, would it be considered new information?

  * FYI: latest metric is NYA signaling at 75% in the last 24h [1], with the position of ViaBTC still unclear

Why would the threshold (if any that is) be compared to metrics based on 24h signalling when the upgrade was in the works for over 2 years?
The upgrade was activated and locked-in over 2 difficulty adjustment windows, which I suggest would be an appropriate time-span to gather metrics when suggesting a threshold.
