[Bridge] kernel support bridging?

Hi all,

Does anyone know whether the following kernel supports bridging with firewa=
lling capacity?

2.4.20-2.3 sparc sparc 64 -- running Aurora 1.0.

Do I need to be recompiling the kernel?
