ow, ugly.

Please try removing the special kernel boot options.  If any of them are
still needed in 2.6.23/2.6.24 then please raise separate bug reports
for that.

I suspect that the only practical way in which we'll be fixing this is if
you can run a bisection search to find the offending commit.
