Summary: COMRESET on resume where SATA link power management is
                    enabled
           Product: Power Management
           Version: 2.5
     KernelVersion: 2.6.24-17-generic
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: Linux
              Tree: Mainline
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P1
         Component: Hibernation/Suspend
        AssignedTo: power-management_other at kernel-bugs.osdl.org
        ReportedBy: cmsj at tenshu.net

Using Ubuntu 8.04 I get a slow resume from suspend with a COMRESET error for my
drive if I have previously enabled sata link power management.

Does this explicitly need to be disabled before suspending, or should the
kernel be handling this situation by explicitly waking up the link on resume?
