Problem Description:
On reboot my client gets stuck printing 

RPC: error 101 connecting to server nfs.test1.com
RPC: error 101 connecting to server nfs.test1.com
RPC: error 101 connecting to server nfs.test1.com
RPC: error 101 connecting to server nfs.test1.com

The only way to bring the m/c up is to power-off
Steps to reproduce:
Rarely reproducible

I can not ping the machine and network interface is down, but the rpc seem to be
stuck in infinite loop in  net/sunrpc/xprt.c
