Summary: Dell "Setting up System Clock" Hangs
    Kernel Version: 2.6.10-1.9_FC2
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
             Owner: other_other at kernel-bugs.osdl.org
         Submitter: asharp at aisinbrake.com

Distribution: Fedora FC2
Hardware Environment: Dell GX280 Intel P4 2.8Ghz (Presscott) 1gig ram, 40 gig SATA
(ST340014AS)
Software Environment:Grub boot loader
Problem Description:After launching Grub and selecting the Kernel I wish to use
(2.6.10) Fedora system loader launches, kernel is unpacked, Kudzu launches, then
at "setting up system clock" process hangs and will not proceed any further.

A gogle search would suggest that others are having the same problem with other
dell systems and 2.6.10

Steps to reproduce: Load FC2 on to system, use yum to update to latest kernel,
reboot and select the new kernel at grub launch screen, watch it hang.
