Pioneer DVD-ROM and LG cdwriter etc...
Software Environment:gnome
Problem Description:With kernel 2.6.8 fedora core 3 doesnt crash when i load an
audio cdrom neither a dvd in the dvd player and no crash either in the cdwriter
it seem there is no support for multiple drive after kernel 2.6.8 so there must
be something to be done.I put hdc=ide-scsi for the dvd-rom and hdd=ide-scsi for
cdwriter until someone can do something.

here is the description of both cdroms:

Steps to reproduce: putting an audio cd the computer crash before adding
parameter to 2.6.9 and 2.6.10 after when loading audio cdrom its playing and not
crashing but when i put a dvd its crashing.
