Latest working kernel version:2.6.28 

Earliest failing kernel version: 2.6.28 (previously I users eeepc_acpi built 
outside kernel tree but it no longer builds since 2.6.28

Distribution: modified slackware 12.1
Hardware Environment: asus eeepc 701
Software Environment: gcc (GCC) 4.2.3
Problem Description: most hotkeys do not work, /proc/acpi/asus directory is no
longer avalible and hence all the means of controlling wifi, webcam, screen ...

Steps to reproduce: build kernel with EEEPC_LAPTOP, X86, ACPI,
BACKLIGHT_CLASS_DEVICE, HWMON, EXPERIMENTAL, RFKILL enabled ... install kernel
and modules ... boot and notice the problem.
