    To add support for Hyper-Threading in the kernel. Includes the changes
to identify
    and enable Hyper-Threading, processor affinity, option to disable
Hyper-Threading 
    at boot time and other changes like mtrr and microcode update driver to
support 
    Hyper-Threading enabled system.
4.  Where did the feature come from (open source project location)?
    Developed by Linux OS Eng. team at Intel and open source community 
    (http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/people/rml and 
     http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/people/mingo)

    Requirement 2.8: Hyper-Threading of CPUs
