I've turned off the requirement that folks be part of this list
to post to the list in expectation of getting some policies and spam
rules in place.

On one hand, it probably means we're going to get some nasty spam.

On the other hand, it will ensure immediate discussion.

Actually, I'm kinda tickled that this list has this problem just now.

I promise I'll help sort this out.
