Likely true, in which case I think that "default behaviour" doesn't  
involve opening the pref window at _all_, in which further case  
trying to improve the user experience by eliminating options there  
seems at best to be uneconomic, and more likely to be counterproductive.

(if the default behaviour _does_ involve opening the pref window,  
that might be a sign of a deeper problem; it has been for Firefox,  
when we've encountered that case)
