[Desktop_architects] Applications and pre-installed machines

Isn't this list about figuring out and solving issues related to ISP's
wanting their applications to run on Linux desktops? Having people chime
up with their favorite open source application every time a Windows
application is mentioned should IMHO be considered off-topic for this
list. Nothing wrong with either GnuCash or Kvisio, they are good apps
and can probably work as replacements for people needing such
functionality, but they doesn't make it easier for the any ISP to port
an application to Linux systems.
