As you can see from the DAM-3 agenda, audio/multimedia does not have a
prominent slot in the program.

At DAM-1 and DAM-2, we had some reasonable discussions around
audio/multimedia, but we really didn't have all the right
architects/developers there to make much progress.  The FOMS meeting at
linux.conf.au is shaping up to be the right gathering "by developers for
developers".

By the way, the deadline for submitting papers for FOMS is October 31 (a
nice way to celebrate Halloween).
