Desktop architects,

DAM-4 will be piggy-backing the Linux Foundation Collaboration summit
this year. The following general announcement will be going out soon,
but I wanted you to be able to mark your calendars right away for June
15-16th at the Googleplex in Mountain View. Desktop architects will
also be able to attend the plenary LF session on June 14th if they would
like to.

The Linux Foundation Collaboration Summit

We'd like to alert you to the first ever Linux Foundation Collaboration
Summit taking place from June 14 through 16 at Google's Mountain View
Campus in the Bay Area. This unique, invitation-only event will bring
together the brightest minds in the Linux ecosystem to discuss where
Linux is, where it needs to go and how we can all help get it there.
We're combining LF workgroup meetings, LSB face-to-face meetings, and
the advisory councils (user, vendor, developer) to create one
uber-conference. Breakout sessions should contain all the domain
expertise to make a difference in the advancement of the Linux platform.

This is a truly collaborative event that will bring together the key
constituencies of the Linux ecosystem: distribution vendors, end users,
ISVs, system vendors, developers and community groups. If you want to
make an impact on the platform and meet with senior Linux technical and
business representatives in one place, this is your event.

The LF Collaboration Summit will be open to LF members and to key senior
participants in the Linux ecosystem. Please send an email to
events at linux-foundation.org to be considered for an invitation to this
event or to ask other questions. Participation is limited to keep
collaboration manageable.
