Oops; I just looked more closely. Not your r500 driver, but I still
don't know the full history between that developer & his driver.

I hope you'll be at Linux Symposium in Ottawa next month, where we will
be leading a BOF to discuss how to alleviate some of the problems IHVs
(including graphics vendors) encounter when trying to develop and
maintain drivers for Linux. The AMD Graphics division hears the Linux
community loud and clear. We're not ignoring the problem.
As for your blog, I don't know the full history between you and the
former ATI business unit regarding your ATI r500 driver, so I'll decline
to comment on that for now.

The story got picked up by Slashdot. How not surprising, again.
If hardware manufacturers, including video card manufacturers, really
supported Linux, there would be less problem. I think the ball is in
your side now :-)
