And what's wrong with that? I add my own SoB to patches that I make and
they are not always reviewed. I post them to LKML and Cc a few people
that know the code, but if they don't review them in a day or two I just
apply it and push to Linus. I'll post the changes to LKML that go to
Linus too. Thus, my changes get posted to LKML twice. But are they
reviewed? Who knows?

For more complex changes, there's a few people I trust that I want to
review my code before I push them. Those changes I add a "Reviewed-by"
tag. But for smaller changes, I'll do myself. As that's pretty much the
definition of being a maintainer. One that maintains the code.
