I'm going to limit my comments to the one point I feel most important
here.

Search and Replace "ISV" with Software Developers.

The V in ISV implies that LSB is only about making life easier for the
"commercial" software providers (Vendors).

That is not true, LSB will benefit Open Source projects just as well as
ISVs.

(Just a PR thing, but it will make a huge impact on community support
and acceptance).
