[lsb-discuss] Drop --help and --version for LSB 2.0 (or even 1.9)

Hello,

Several commands list "--help" and "--version" as "LSB Deprecated
Differences", for some commands like nl, nohup, paste etc. this is the
only difference to the Single UNIX Specification.

Given that --help should not be needed (only to figure out whether a
parameter is there) and --version is completely useless (unless one knows
that one wants to have a certain GNU version, assuming that this is a GNU
tool). Also the -V or -v version and -h or -H help commands should be
dropped.

I don't know whether it is too late for 1.9, but at least for 2.0 this
should be done.

Tobias

PS: Do I understand correctly that a "LSB Deprecated Differences" has to
be supported? That means that I cannot use "star" as "tar" since it
doesn't support e.g. "--confirmation"? :-(
