Hello!
I'm attempting to make an LSB-conforming init script for the Xprint
project: http://xprint.mozdev.org/
The bug for the init script modification is:
http://mozdev.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=3216
One problem I found is that the Xprint service should be started after
any print spooler, whether it is CUPS, LPD or anything else. Is there a
way to specify this with the init script comments? As I understand it,
it seems there isn't. That's what the proposed Should-Start and
Should-Stop keywords should be for, right?
So, until the LSB adopts these, should I use SuSE's
X-UnitedLinux-Should-Start and X-UnitedLinux-Should-Stop? How do other
distributions (and other software packages) handle this?
BTW, I have an unrelated question: when looking for info on this, I
found a message
(http://freestandards.org/pipermail/lsb-discuss/2003-May/001574.html) on
this list from Tobias Burnus, where he talks about bugs (e.g. "[bug
677752] Should-Start/Should-Stop"). Is there a Bugzilla for the LSB
somewhere? Where?
Thanks for any info!
