Hi,

I have a few questions. I'll be glad to put these into the
bugzilla if that's appropriate for some of them.

1. in LSB-Core, Foreword:
http://www.linuxbase.org/spec/booksets/LSB-Core/LSB-Core/overview.html

and LSB-Embedded, Foreword:
http://www.linuxbase.org/spec/booksets/LSB-Embedded/LSB-Embedded/overview.html

"ELF" is used but not defined AFAICT. Is this Executable and
Linking Format or something else?

(note 1: LSB-Graphics does not say "ELF" here.)
(note 2: Ch. 7 defines ELF as Executable and Linking Format.)

2. same as above for Ch. 3, Requirements:
http://www.linuxbase.org/spec/booksets/LSB-Core/LSB-Core/requirements.html
and
http://www.linuxbase.org/spec/booksets/LSB-Embedded/LSB-Embedded/requirements.html

3. Is there any high-level summary of differences between Core,
Embedded, Graphics, etc.?

4. You've probably heard this one a few times:

"gLSB: The common part of the LSB Specification that describes those
parts of the interface that remain constant across all hardware
implementations of the LSB."

This seems not to be used as a common part of the spec. for the
different usage models (what are they called?), those being
Generic, Core, and Embedded. Why are large parts of the spec.
repeated for the usage models? Do you expect them to diverge
in the future?

9. meta-comment: The HTML presentation (display) would be much
more readable if it were in 2 columns, or it just didn't use the
entire width of the screen.

Thanks,
