I may not be answering the question here, but for LSB 3.1 compliance
here is what you will need:

 

GTK+ Stack >=2.6.3  (with correct associated versions for ATK, glib
etc.)

Qt >= 3.3.5

Libxml2 >= 2.6.22   (not 21)

Png12 >= 1.2.8

Jpeg  = 62b (there is no later release)

Fontconfig >= 2.3.2

i have libxml2.6.16-7 on my system.when tried installing lsb-libchk I
got the following error.I have even tried by converting the lsb-libchk
package to deb in a sarge/dcc system and installing the deb in the test
system but invain.

alien -ick lsb-libchk-3.1.1-1.i486.rpm
dpkg: dependency problems prevent configuration of lsb-libchk:
 lsb-libchk depends on libxml2 (>= 2.6.21); however:
  Version of libxml2 on system is 2.6.16-7.
dpkg: error processing lsb-libchk (--install):
 dependency problems - leaving unconfigured
Errors were encountered while processing:
 lsb-libchk


Even lsb-test-desktop-3.1.0-10.i486.rpm  is asking for libxml2 higher
version.


next when I tried to do the  qmtest_libstdcpp.
/opt/lsb/test/share/qmtest_libstdcpp_3.4.3/run_tests
#
no output

How can I meet these requirments?
